A few years ago I wrote this song with my good friend Gavin Thomas. We were trying to capture what's best about Christmas and what's best about people. We tend to be a bit apologetic for sentiments like; love, joy, peace and understanding but quite frankly there's never been a better time to embrace them so I thought it was worth a re-mix and re-launch. So here it is, 'Here's to the Spirit of Christmas' the Director's cut! Featuring the missing first verse and added bonus bits from the extraordinary Jackie Collins together with all my favourite stuff from the original recording with all those great singers in the GT Live Sessions Choir. Good times, good friends, good music. What more could you want?
